Overview: The overall goal of this program is to engage diverse, motivated, and talented undergraduate and graduate students around the nation, and train them to adopt cybersecurity knowledge and skills in the deployment of LLM into advanced cyberinfrastructure systems. During this 10-day in-person program, we will work together to understand how LLM is used in real-world cyberinfrastructure and applications (e.g., agents), the potential threats they face (e.g., prompt injection), and strategies to mitigate these threats. Through lectures, talks, hands-on labs, and group projects, students will learn the identification, analysis, and mitigation of diverse attack vectors targeting LLM-empowered advanced CI systems.
